JUNGLE is an interactive sound & dance installation performance resulting from an experimental choreographic residency at Catapult in Newcastle. A collaboration with music producer Jephthah Francis, JUNGLE exists in a Rube Goldberg machine environment, using the domino effect to engage the performers in creating a live sound scape layered with voice & percussion. Made of industrial materials, sound triggers & golf balls, this collaboration produced a distinctly original instrument, comparable to Richard Waters’ Waterphone.
